Our number one priority is to ensure our customers are set up properly for a safe towing experience. We recently expanded or services to include other vehicle accessories such as tonneau covers, vehicle steps, and more. Our custom welding and fabrication shop provides specialty custom hitches for travel and 5th wheel trailers, complex trailer repairs, custom truck/pipe racks, and so much more. George our long time fabricator and certified welder can handle anything from a small welding repair to a specialty custom gate.

Our Founder

Cannons of Jax, formerly known as Cannon Welding, has been a small family business staple in the Jacksonville area since 1950. Cannon Welding was originally located on University Blvd and was owned by Earnest Cannon. Bo Phillips, Earnest’s nephew took ownership of Cannons in 1969 and moved the business to its current location on Richard Street. Bo started out with a small 24’ x 36’ steel building as his welding fabrication shop.
